013-year guarantee
As set out in Spain's General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, we are liable for any lack of conformity that appears within the 3 years following delivery. If your piece has a defect, you can ask for it to be repaired or replaced and, if that isn't possible, a price reduction or a refund.
Solid wood is a natural material. Differences in grain, tone and knots between pieces, or compared with the photos, are not defects but part of its character. The guarantee also does not cover normal wear from use or damage from improper use or care.
To use the guarantee, write to us at info@studiotablas.com with your order number and photos of the problem.
02Right of withdrawal (14 days)
You can withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason within 14 calendar days from when you (or a person you name, other than the carrier) receive the piece.
This right applies to pieces bought in the sizes and finishes available on the product page and to the sample box.
To exercise it, send us a clear statement before the period ends, by email to info@studiotablas.com or by letter. You can use this template, although it isn't compulsory:
03Custom pieces: no withdrawal
Under article 103.c of Spain's General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users, there is no right of withdrawal for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.
That's why pieces we make with special sizes, finishes or features that you ask for, outside the options on the product page, cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal. They still have, of course, the 3-year guarantee.
04How to return a piece
- Send the piece back to us within 14 calendar days of telling us that you are withdrawing.
- Pack it well protected, if possible in packaging similar to the original, so it isn't damaged in transit.
- The cost of the return is paid by you. For large furniture it can reach about 300 €; for small pieces, such as shelves or samples, it's much lower.
- You are only liable for any loss in value of the piece if it results from handling beyond what is needed to check it.
05Refund
We refund all payments, including the original shipping (except the extra cost of a non-standard shipping method), within 14 calendar days of you telling us you are withdrawing. We'll use the same payment method you used, at no cost to you.
We may wait until we receive the piece, or until you send us proof of return, before refunding.
06Damage in transit
If the piece arrives damaged, follow the procedure in the shipping policy: note it on the delivery note and let us know within 24 hours with photos. Shipping is insured and we'll resolve it at no cost to you.
